The Moscow Representative Office of JSC China Merchants CHN-BLR Commerce and Logistics Company ("CMCB") was established on 28 October 2018. The Representative Office was established by CMCB as part of its strategy to promote the corporation abroad, whose area of responsibility includes Russia and the neighboring regions. The responsibilities of the Representative Office include:
- Implementation of the corporation's foreign markets strategy, taking advantage of market opportunities, as well as preparation of working suggestions and recommendations;
- Contribution to the development of Russia and neighboring regions in accordance with the requirements of Sinotrans and CMCB management;
- Responsibility for building appropriate channels of communication with the Government authorities of Russia and neighboring countries, timely resolution of emerging issues;
- Representation of Sinotrans and CMCB on specific projects, participating in negotiations on their behalf, giving advice and coordinating the processes;
- Responsibility for communication, organization and reception of foreign events in Russia and neighboring countries;

Responsibility for the promotion of CMCB daily activities on projects in Russia and adjacent regions, including:
- Establishing and maintaining communication and cooperation with logistics service providers in Russia and neigbouring regions, addressing current issues in the process of interaction;
- Coordination and promotion of business activities and foreign economic cooperation between China and Belarus in Russia and neighboring regions, as well as finding solutions to emerging issues;
- Timely notification of important issues affecting CMCB, active protection of rights and interests of Sinotrans and CMCB abroad;
- On behalf of the corporation, participation in events and conferences in Russia that affect the interests of Sinotrans and CMCB, and submission of proposals;
- Fulfillment of tasks given by CMCB.
The Moscow Representative Office will continue providing more information required by Sinotrans and CMCB, contributing to the creation of a modern international logistics transport platform for CMCB in Russia and neighbouring regions and will be offering even more solutions.
