On July 2, Belt and Road Forum for Regional Cooperation and Development, organized by the Ministry of Commerce of PRC and the Ministry of Economy of Belarus, was opened at the Industrial Park of China and Belarus. Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration, Mr. Snapkov read a letter of congratulation from the President of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko. Keynote speakers were He Wei, vice Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, Qian Keming, Vice Minister of Commerce of China, Mr. Krutoi - Minister of Economy of Belarus, and Mr. Ermolovich - Minister of Finance of Belarus. Over 600 representatives from governments, regions, business associations, financial institutions and enterprises from China, Belarus and neighboring countries attended the forum.
The President of Belarus Lukashenko sent warm greetings to the forum. Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarus is one of the first countries to support the Belt and Road Initiative. Both the theme of the forum "Open parks, global possibilities", and the Belt and Road Initiative appeared in China, providing global opportunities. We strive to build an international industrial park, ecologically friendly industrial city and become a landmark project and demonstration project of the Belt and Road Initiative.
