On April 20, at 4 pm awards and appointment ceremony was held. The ceremony was organized by the representative office of China Merchants Group in Central Asia and the Baltic region. The event was attended by the member of China Merchants Group Board, representative office of the corporation in Central Asia, CEO of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Hu Zheng, director of the Administration of the China-Belarus Industrial Park A. Yaroshenko, Deputy Director General of Sinotrans, general manager of China Merchants Logistics Song Rong, Deputy Director General Director of China Merchants Logistics Chen Hairong, and more than 80 employees. The Deputy General Director of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Development Company, Xu Baoming, presided at the ceremony.
In his speech, Hu Zheng said that CMCB is the first major project of the China Merchants Corporation on the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative. After the ceremony of authority handover, Du Baozhong, new CEO of CMCB, read out the decision on awarding diplomas and medals to Zhang Yi, Yu Minghua, Huang Zhihua and Yang Dong, and medals were awarded to acknowledge the important contribution made by Zheng Minghui, Gang Zhaowei.
A. Yaroshenko, head of the Industrial Park Administration, said in his speech that he is honored to participate in such events and knows much about China Merchants. He affirmed and praised the important role of CMCB in the rise of the China-Belarus Industrial Park, and congratulated the winners. Yaroshenko confirmed that China Merchants has made an important contribution to the economic development of China and Belarus and expressed gratitude to China Merchants on behalf of the Government of Belarus and the China-Belarus Industrial Park.
