An official ceremony of opening of the customs warehouse was held in China Merchants on the day of founding of the PRC.

On October 1, 2018, during the celebration of the 69th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, CMCB held an official ceremony of opening of the customs station Great Stone.
The ceremony was attended by Head of Belarus President Property Management Directorate Viktor Sheiman, Chairman of the State Customs Committee Yuri Senko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic Belarus Tsui Tsimin, member of CMG Board, head of CMG representative office in Central Asia and the Baltic region, CEO of the China-Belarus Industrial Park Hu Zheng delivered a keynote speech.
At the opening ceremony, Viktor Sheiman said that Belarus is a stable and reliable partner of China in Europe. The priorities of Belarus include the development of intercontinental transport corridors and improvement of logistics infrastructure. Our two countries work together to actively promote the construction of the China-Belarus Industrial Park and are moving towards the goal of "making the China-Belarus Industrial Park the pearl on the economic belt" of the Silk Road". Customs station Great Stone meets all the international standards, and its creation will ensure efficient processing of documents to guarantee the smooth import of goods and services to the Eurasian Economic Community, the Eurasian Union and other countries and regions of the world.
At the opening ceremony, the Chairman of the Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Senko said that the opening of the customs station Great Stone was preceded by the events and meetings of the customs authorities of China and Belarus, exchange of information on all aspects of customs affairs. The successful creation of a customs station in the China-Belarus Commerce and Logistics Park confirms the national long-term strategy of "comprehensive support of transportation logistics, use of the export potential of Belarus, development of transit and expansion of investment opportunities". Finally, Mr. Yuri Senko asked that the opening of the customs station Great Stone was a special gift for the 69th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
At the opening ceremony, Tsui Tsimin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus, congratulated on the opening of the customs station Great Stone in the China-Belarus Commerce and Logistics Park, and expressed gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the public for their assistance in the development of friendly relations between China and Belarus. Ambassador Tsui Tsimin said that the opening of the customs station will add splendor to the China-Belarus Industrial Park, which is another important result of the pragmatic cooperation between China and Belarus within the Belt and Road Initiative framework.
Hu Zheng, a member of the CMG Board (China Merchants Group), head of the China Merchants Representative Office in Central Asia and the Baltic Region and CEO of the China-Belarus Industrial Park, welcomed the authorities and guests attending the opening ceremony of the customs station Great Stone. Hu Zheng pointed out that the successful opening of the customs station filled the gaps in the China-Belarus Industrial Park, created the necessary conditions for the development of export-oriented economy of the park, improved the investment environment of the China-Belarus Industrial Park and once again underlined the status of the China-Belarus Industrial Park. At the same time, CMCB will work with the customs authorities to implement international freight traffic, contract logistics, international air transport, cross-border e-commerce between China and Europe, will provide customers with high quality, efficient and fully integrated services in an effort to transform China-Belarus Commerce and Logistics Park into a modern logistics platform.
The representatives of the Belarusian Ministry of Agriculture, Administration of the China-Belarus Industrial Park, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, China-Belarus Industrial Park Development Company, CJSC , Latvian port, the port of Riga, Russian Railways, export and import companies of Belarus, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, enterprises with Chinese capital, members of the China-Belarus Industrial Park also attended the opening ceremony of the customs station.
